The Osterhaven Lecture 2023

The Osterhaven lectures were established to highlight the contemporary relevance of Reformed theology. Since the first lecture series 35 years ago, we have enjoyed the presence of scholars from across the disciplines of theology and biblical studies who have shared their passion for connecting theological themes to the life of the church and the world.

This year, join us as Pastor Rich Villodas gives two lectures; 

• 3 - 4:15 PM: "Contemplative Rhythms for an Exhausted Culture" 
• 7:30 - 9 PM "Becoming a Calm Presence in an Anxious World" 

About The Speaker

Pastor Rich Villodas is the Brooklyn-born lead pastor of New Life Fellowship, a large, multiracial church with more than seventy-five countries represented in Elmhurst, Queens. Rich graduated with a BA in pastoral ministry and theology from Nyack College. He went on to complete his Master of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary. His award-winning book, The Deeply Formed Life, was released in September 2020. His latest book, Good and Beautiful and Kind, was released in July 2022. He and his wife, Rosie, have two beautiful children and reside in Long Island, NY.
