Description
You are invited to a professional development event featuring Aundi Kolber and her presentation, Stay With Yourself: A Soft and Fierce Invitation to Unlearn Pleasing, Performing, and Keeping the Peace–and Live from Your Truest, God-Given Center.
In a world that often requires folks to abandon themselves for survival and belonging, understanding the mechanisms beneath this dynamic is crucial. Join critically acclaimed author, therapist, and speaker Aundi Kolber for an evening unpacking the many ways folks learn to leave themselves via the fawn response–and what it looks like to build the capacity to stay instead. Weaving together rich personal story, faith integration, and clinical expertise, we'll explore the sacred path toward agency, internal safety, and connection, as we come to embrace compassionate ownership of our God-given selves.
Mental health care providers are invited to a professional development event hosted by the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program of Western Theological Seminary.
